On Tuesday 30 May 2023 at 4.30 pm in the Aula Magna of the Steri Monumental Complex, Ilaria Capua was awarded the “Honoris Causa” honorary Degree in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Palermo. She is the first Italian veterinarian to receive this recognition.
